Ethiopost processes road fund payments at many of our branches.
Ethiopost, in collaboration with the Ethiopian Road Fund (ERF) and the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE), facilitates road fund payment services. Car owners across the country can make their payments through Ethiopost.
What you need to know before coming to Ethiopost to make your road fund payments
- You need to provide the original and copy of vehicle registration (libré) documents
- If you are making a payment on behalf of someone else, you will need to present a valid power of attorney
- If payment was made through CBE, proof of payment and a copy of the payment confirmation slip needs to be provided

You can also use Ethiopost’s point of sale (POS) machines to make payment (please be mindful that Ethiopost will only accept payment in the form of debit cards for road fund payments.)
