የኢትዮጵያፖስታ በዩፒዩ ኦክቶበር 9 የሚከበረውን የአለም የፖስታ ቀን እያከበረ ነው። የበዓሉ ዋና ዓላማ የፖስታ ዘርፉ በሰዎች የየዕለት ሕይወት ውስጥ ያለውን ሚና እንዲሁም ለዓለም ዓቀፍ ማኅበራዊና ኢኮኖሚያዊ ዕድገት ያለውን አስተዋጽዖ ማስገንዘብ ሲሆን የዚህ ዓመቱ ፖስታ ቀን በዓለም ዓቀፍ ደረጃ “Post for Planet” / “ፖስታ ለፕላኔት” በሚል የኅብረቱ አባላት በሆኑ 192 አገራት ተከብሮ ይውላል። “ፖስታ ትላንት ዛሬና ነገ” በሚል ዋና ሃሳብ ክብረ በዓሉ ለታዳሚዎች የኢትዮጵያ ፖስታን ታሪካዊ ሚና፣ እየሰጠ ያለውን አገልግሎት እንዲሁም የወደፊት እቅዶች ያስቃኛል። ዛሬ መስከረም 27፣ 2015 ለፕሬስ አባላት ጋዜጣዊ መግለጫ በመስጠት ዝግጅቱ በይፋ ተጀምሯል። የፕሬስ አባላትም የፖስታ አገልግሎትን ሰፊ አሠራር ለማሳየት የድርጅቱን ውስጣዊ አሠራር ጎብኝተዋል። ይህ ጉብኝት ለሰፊው ህዝብ ከጥቅምት 1 እስከ 4 ክፍት ይሆናል።

Ethiopost is celebrating #WorldPostDay which is marked on October 9th by the UPU. The main purpose of the festival is to highlight the role of the postal sector in people’s daily lives and its contribution to global social and economic development. With the theme of “Post yesterday, today, and tomorrow”, the celebration will highlight the historical role of Ethiopost, the wide array of services it is currently providing, and its future plans. Ethiopia officially launched the event today with a press release for members of the press. Members of the press were also provided a walk-through of the vast operations of the postal service ahead of the public open house which offers a similar glimpse into the inner workings of the organization to the public.
